About me

Nadav Oz Leibovich (b. 1995, Jerusalem) is an Israeli trumpet player, jazz pianist, and educator based in Zurich.

He began playing the trumpet at the age of nine while simultaneously studying jazz piano at the Jerusalem Academy of Music and Dance, where he completed his high school education with a focus on music.

In jazz, he studied with Ilan Salem, Yuval Cohen, Yaki Levi, and Yorai Oron in Jerusalem, and later continued his development with Chris Wiesendanger (jazz piano and composition) and Charlie Porter (jazz trumpet and improvisation).

He later continued his studies with Guy Messler at the Conservatoire de Rouen, where he earned the Diplôme Musical (GOP).

From 2020 to 2023, Nadav studied under Frits Damrow at the Zurich University of the Arts (ZHdK), completing his Bachelor of Arts in Music. He is currently pursuing a Master of Arts in Music Pedagogy at ZHdK, and also holds a Certificate of Advanced Studies in Music Physiology (Prof. Dr. Horst Hildebrandt) and a Suzuki Method Certification (Level 1), earned under Ann-Marie Sundberg in Stockholm.
